NDP congratulates Yukon Catholic Schools on historic Pride Flag raising

For the first time in the Yukon’s history, all three Yukon Catholic schools in Whitehorse will celebrate Pride Month by raising the Pride flag. The step is a long-awaited victory for 2SLGBTQIA+ students in Catholic schools in the Yukon and is an important step towards ensuring safe spaces for all Yukoners.

The Yukon NDP would like to congratulate the educators, administrators and students who worked so hard to make this historic moment a reality.
