Yukon NDP Leader Kate White issues statement on Education Review

Yukon NDP Leader Kate White issued the following statement:

“The significant and serious concerns raised in the recently released review of the Department of Education don’t come as a surprise to educators, families and caregivers.

Yukoners within education have raised many of these same concerns for years, we thank the panel for their honest assessment.

My colleagues and I look forward to seeing the next steps and recommendations from the review panel and will look to the Minister of Education to see how the upcoming recommendations will be actioned.

We will continue to advocate for an education system that works for all learners.”
